The COVID-19 pandemic has made offline human-to-human communication not just unwanted but even dangerous and deadly. This work examines one of the results of the total departure of human communication into the online mode. It seems to us that now we are always close, but does the image that develops from the correspondence belong to the person on the other end of the line?

Man-in-the-middle attack is a type of cyberattackin cryptography and computer security where the attacker secretly relays and possibly alters the communications between two parties who believe that they are directly communicating with each other.

Why are we sure that application algorithms don't lie to us? Autocorrect words in SMS are something that everyone has come across, but we still find it absurd to think that instant messengers will replace our messages. We can no longer do without machines in the middle, which means it is in their power to destroy trust between us.
